The Rockland County Iraq & Afghanistan Memorial & Monument will honor all those from Rockland who served the United States of America in the combat theaters of Iraq and Afghanistan, particularly those who have gave their lives.

 

It will be located adjacent to the Rockland County 9/11 Memorial at Haverstraw Bay Park and has been funded through a mixture of state grants, in-kind contributions from the County and private organizations, and private monetary donations.  It is scheduled to be unveiled on November 10th, 2018 at noon.
